Adolescent Services Center

The Adolescent Services Center is a 16 bed residential treatment facility for individuals between the ages of 12 and 17 with a substance use disorder, providing quality treatment and relapse-prevention services.

Child & Adolescent Services

GLRC's offers Child & Adolescent Services at a number of Outpatient Offices across the Upper Peninsula. Services include: mental health and substance abuse counseling, a Psychiatric Speciality Clinic, and ESM Trauma Assessments.

Group Offerings

A variety of outpatient groups are held weekly at many of our Outpatient Services locations. These groups provide a non-judgmental setting for individuals struggling with substance abuse.

John Kivela Center

The John Kivela Center is a behavioral health campus where individuals can access all of their health care needs in one location. The facility is named in memory of John Kivela, a supporter of GLRC who served as a member if the Michigan House of Representatives.

Medication Assisted Treatment

GLRC's Medication Assisted Treatment clinic provides medication that can help control cravings and the chemical impacts of substances. Medication assisted treatment, combined with counseling, has been shown to be effective in the treatment of opioid disorders.

Medical Services

GLRC Medical Services are available to the general public and offered in a variety of locations throughout the Upper Peninsula. These programs are staffed by a physician and nurse practitioners who can provide preventative care, education on health topics, and treatment.

Men’s Residential Treatment

GLRC operates two residential facilities for men with substance use disorders. Residential substance use treatment refers to a short-term or long-term arrangement, where clients live in a therapeutic environment for individuals living in recovery.

Negaunee Integrated Care Clinic

GLRC's Negaunee Integrated Care Clinic combines outpatient integrated care and medical services in one conveniently located campus in Negaunee, MI and offers a variety of services to the general public.

OS Reentry Services

OS Reentry Services provides case management services, residential stability, social support, health/behavioral health, and econimic stability to help meet participant's basic needs and to assist with community reentry.

Outpatient Services

GLRC has 9 Outpatient Services offices across the Upper Peninsula. A variety of services happen through the Outpatient Services offices including: individual and group counseling, peer recovery, prevention services, and Offender Success programming.

Peer Recovery Services

Peer Recovery is a peer-based addiction and dependency recovery support service. It is non-clinical and nonprofessional and can be implemented concurrently with professional clinical services.

Recovery Housing

Recovery Housing provides structure and support for those living in recovery and fosters a safe environment for individuals to continue to heal from the impacts of addiction.

Substance Use Disorder Services

GLRC has a continuum of SUD services available throughout the Upper Peninsula including: outpatient services, adult residential programs, adolescent residential programs, detox services, as well as recovery housing.

Veterans Services

GLRC offers several different services to Veterans including: counseling and readjustment, temporary housing for homeless veterans in GLRC's residential facilities, peer recovery services, weekly support groups, and Instruments of Peace.

Women & Families Services

Women and Families Services include specialized services for pregnant clients and mothers with dependent children. GLRC provides counseling to women and families as well as potentially helping to find resources regarding financial assistance for housing, qualified child care providers, food, clothing, and miscellaneous expenses incurred while receiving treatment.
